I work with The British Medical Journal (The BMJ) where I help design, build and maintain their extensive suite of products. These products help medical organisations and clinicians tackle today’s most critical healthcare challenges.
Prior to that, I was part of the UX/UI Design teams at QVC, John Lewis and Disney Media, and worked as a Senior Designer at a digital agency in London. In a previous life, I was also the founder of MCOCDesign, a digital design agency, in Ireland.
As a UI/UX specialist, I align UX & UI creative design concepts with technical front-end know-how. I collaborate with researchers, designers & developers to define and deliver new features, translate concepts into living, breathing prototypes, and iterate on interactions and details in pursuit of the perfect experience.
I’m a happy UX / UI designer / developer hybrid. I work daily with UX Researchers user-testing and prototyping new concepts, and with engineering teams to help deliver the same.
I’ve studied Human Computer Interaction (HCI) to MSc Level at City, University of London (PG.Dip awarded) and I’m a keen writer who likes to blog about UX/UI design and development. You can read case studies of some of my work here or simply get in touch to say hi!
